Since I had been traveling and working a lot for most of the holiday season, I haven’t had much time to enjoy the build up to Christmas – some of you might be saying well its still a week away, but I like to celebrate for the whole month. Still, in my limited spare time, I’ve managed to fit in some of my favorite Christmas activities:
- Decorating Christmas Tree(s) – Since I was a kid, decorating the Christmas tree was something I’ve always enjoyed. More so than anyone else in my family – over the years its become my thing and I work with my mom to make sure we hang every ornament we own onto our live tree. In my own home I’m starting this tradition – though we buy smaller live trees since our home is smaller than my own 🙂
- Decorating the home – On a similar note I really like decorating for Christmas and find great joy in making a space festive! Here are some scenes from my home:
- Watching old Christmas movies – If the Christmas movies are in black and white and/or contain Bing Crosby as a main character, it’s on my list! Poor Ted is sick of me playing these movies over and over again, but we only have a few days left so he’s just going to have to endure.
- Gifting – I think I like wrapping presents more than I like buying them – this past weekend Ted and I spent the entire sub zero morning wrapping our gifts together.
