One of my favorite parts of having a blog is that I get the opportunity to meet and feature local businesses that I love and support. If you’ve read any other posts in my “The Makers” series then you know I have a penchant for featuring women owned businesses. This post is no different and I’m happy to feature my good friend Ania, the talent behind Ania Photography.
The Woman
I’ve known Ania for years. We went to high school and college together, and today we work at the same company ! Ania is one of those people that is so driven and smart. She’s a talented professional and still finds time to grow her photography business and also start her own clothing line (Grace By GD) with her sisters. You’ll remember I featured them in a post earlier in the year. And yes its led by the same Ania! She’s a wonder woman!
The Business
Ania Photography specializes in a mix of travel and event photography. Ania is like me and loves to travel. The list of countries and cities she has been to is long and impressive. Think China, Cuba, etc. Check out some of her amazing travel shots.
In the past year Ania Photography has grown and Ania has been doing a lot of engagement sessions, maternity shoots, and event photography. I love scrolling through her work and find myself smiling at the photos she takes of young couples in love, expectant mothers, and happy families. Ania’s willing to go everywhere and anywhere and finds the best locations for her shoots. Her photo shoot with Agnieszka and Tim is one of my favorites. The colors in this shoot and the creativity of the scenes is what draws me in.
Ania was kind enough to do some headshots for me a few weeks back and we had so much fun together. When shooting, Ania makes you feel comfortable and chats with you to make you forget that you’re in a photo shoot (I get awkward in front of cameras ha). With her talent she captures your best looking moments. She knows just the right angles and light to help you look your best !
