Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far. Things have been pretty busy these past few weeks and the dust is finally starting to settle. In honor of this I thought it would be nice to take a breath and share five things I’m loving that make me happy.

Five Things I’m Loving Lately

1. Greenery

The weather in Chicago is terrible right now. We’re a tough city when it comes to weather but even the hardiest of us is getting winter weather weary because there’s snow and its April. Anywho to comfort myself I’ve been buying some indoor plants and fresh tulips to bring some greenery into the house. It helps keep things cheerful!

2. Bobbi Brown Corrector

I recently “hit pan” on my first purchase of this which shows you how much I’ve loved it these past few months. I bought this in January and use the shade “light bisque.” It costs $28 and took me about three and a half months of daily use to go through, I highly recommend it!

3. Youtube beauty videos by Matilda

I don’t “youtube” much but I’m obsessed with beauty review videos by Matilda. They are so elegant and most importantly genuine. If you watch other beauty “youtubers” out there they are loud, fake, and focus more on heavy makeup application instead of simple and natural makeup. I’ve watched all of Matilda’s videos and love her work! She’s brand new to youtube and has become a fast success!

4. Jo Malone London Red Roses Cologne

My favorite perfume right now – it smells like red roses with a spicy vanilla undertone. The smell reminds me of spring which is probably why I’m loving it right now.

5.Skagen Leather Watch

Ted bought me this watch as a gift and I’ve been wearing it almost every day. It’s simple, minimal, and goes with almost all of my outfits. I used to buy cheaper watches but would have the straps usually fall apart on me. The quality of this watch has held up very well and I can tell the difference in quality from other’s I’ve purchased. I want to buy a silver one next !
